My Photos
It states in my brief bio on the book’s back cover that I enjoy exploring and photographing rugged landscapes of the beautiful Southwest where I presently live, especially Arizona. Human consciousness was earlier described as the awareness of who we are and of the world around us. Whereas my book chiefly concerns itself with the internal self-awareness aspect of our being, my photos portray personal glimpses of our external natural surroundings.
It’s been my belief that many if not most of us, are not fully conscious in our day-to-day lives of the beauty that exists in even the smallest corners of our world. More often we tend to wholly concentrate on that which is directly in front of us – that which has an immediate impact on our lives. Yet simply being aware and genuinely appreciating our natural environment with an element of gratitude, is arguably an essential component of our rising collective consciousness as well.
I’m a point-and-shoot photographer who simply enjoys sharing images with others. The following galleries of Arizona landscapes, wildlife, and wildflowers represent samples taken from my on-line Webshots collection. I hope you enjoy my photography.
